Most car makers offer corporate discounts for employees of big companies. Every car dealer keeps a list of companies whose employees are eligible for such corporate discounts. Before negotiating the price check if you are eligible for corporate discount.

Option for cheap finance

If you are looking for a car loan ask the car dealer to help you in getting competitive quotations from many finance providers.  Every car dealer has a tie-up with one or many car loan providers and they setup help desk at the showroom. Compare each proposal and option for one that charges low interest and charges. You can arrange car loan with your bank or any other financial provider as well.

Clarify everything

Get everything in writing and clarify all grey areas before singing the purchase agreement or loan papers. Spending some time in clarifying everything in this stage will save you from future troubles. Some grey areas that may need clarifications include:

• Who will bear the price difference between booking and delivery in case there is a price hike.
• Specify the date of delivery without any ambiguity and get commitment to oblige. This will save you in case you need the car delivery on some special occasions such as wife’s birthday, son’s wedding day, etc.
• Cancelation charges if any due to unavoidable circumstances.
• All standard accessories and extra fittings.
